Our stove and burner are designed to work together and heating with wood pellet is economical, clean and dust free. As an added bonus, they do not smell at all.
What is a pellet, you ask? They are not actually pellets but they are recycled sawdust or wood shavings. They are then ground up and compressed into small pellets.

Whether you go with a wood or a wood/pellet burning heating stove, you´ll find that it is quite natural and enjoyable to have. And, with the ever rising cost of energy bills, you´ll be happy that you have a better way to heat your home.

Using Solar Water Heaters - to save money and a bit of the planet

Solar water heaters are an ideal way for you to save money on your home's heating bills. Since the price of traditional energy products such as electricity, gas, propane and oil are always increasing, there is little doubt that every homeowner would not like to take full advantage of solar powered water heaters.

A solar collector is basically a flat box and are composed of three main parts, a transparent cover, tubes which carry a coolant and an insulated back plate. The solar collector works on the green house effect principle; solar radiation incident upon the transparent surface of the solar collector is transmitted through though this surface. The inside of the solar collector is usually evacuated, the energy contained within the solar collect is basically trapped and heats the coolant contained within the tubes. The tubes are usually made from copper, and the backplate is painted black to help absorb solar radiation. The solar collector is usually insulated to avoid heat losses.

The main components on an active solar water heating system are
• Solar collector to capture the suns energy and to transfer is to the coolant medium
• A circulation system that moves the fluid between the solar collector and the storage tank
• Storage tank
• Back up heating system
• Control system to regulate the system operation

Combined system and domestic hot water heating
• At least 2.5 m² solar panels per person
• accumulators at least 200 liters per person
• Would you like to "over-sizing" of solar collector items. 50% more surface area so accumulators should be increased by about 100-150% of these mini-levels.
